Walking for Midwives
Monday, August 24, 2009 at 3:48PM On October 3, 2009 the Alabama Birth Coalition will host the Walk for Midwives . . . because there is still so far to go!
Citizens will be walking in communities across the state to raise awareness and funds to help us work for greater access to midwives and better maternity care in Alabama. Volunteers are needed to help make these walks a success! Would you like to get involved?

Our Huntsville Walk For Midwives is going to be GREAT! I am so excited about it!!!
We just finished up a with our walks in South Dakota a week ago. It was great fun and gave us another opportunity to visit with our legislators about the need to license Certified Professional Midwives in our state.
