Birmingham Birth Coalition
The
Birmingham Birth Coaltion (BBC) is a lil' sprout of our mommy group,
the Alabama Birth Coalition. We meet monthly to organize efforts to
support ABC initiatives. Alabama is one of the few states that
prohibits midwives from assisting women as they birth out of hopsital.
Our goal is to remedy such restrictive regulation by encouraging
famillies in Birmingham and across the state to get involved to
education and advocate for increasing access to the Midwives Model of
Care.
Please make plans to attend our next meeting that is
scheduled for Feb 14, 2008 at 10 a.m. near downtown Bham. Kids always
